Champions League Semi-Finals First Leg (Contd.)

Welcome to today's post.

Today I will be discussing the matches that have taken place on the 4th of May and will take place on the 5th.

The first match was between Crystal Palace and Cardiff City with a final score of 3-2. It is indeed a sad day for the Blue Birds and their fans as they have been relegated from the Premier League .

The second match, between Liverpool and New Castle came up to a score of 3-2 as well during the final blow of the whistle while the table tops hold their position and add another 3 points. The game had started and Van Dijk nets the first ball in 13'. And then starts the back and forth of goals until it ties down to 2-2. With only 4' remaining of play, Origi seals the deal for the winner as he heads the ball, a wonderful connection from the freekick taken by Sha in at an angle slipping through the hands of the keepers.

The hype will be though tonight for the two teams of Chelsea and Manchester United as they will lock horns against Watford and Huddersfield respectively. With Chelsea in 4th position with 68 points and Manchester United in 6th position with 65 points, a long way from the top three. Although according to predictions from majority of fans, they are bound to lose the matches tonight.
